Cefaratti for Council

Dear Fellow Alexandrians:

I am running for a seat on our City Council because I think that our city can be better than it is—much better. We’re all in this together, but right now, not everyone has a voice. Vote for me, and I assure you that I will hold myself accountable to you.

I am a native Washingtonian who has lifelong ties to Virginia. I have a sense of duty to both my country and hometown. I served my country selflessly as a naval officer and now it’s time to serve my hometown with the same character and honor.

For the past six years, the Alexandria City Council has not had a voice that provided a fundamentally opposing view. New ideas and solutions are best developed when discussion and debate occur among people with differing opinions. We as Alexandrians will beneft with my election to the City Council. I promise to work hard to make our city better than it is now and better than it has been.

As your City Council member, I will provide you with a voice beholden to no one. These are tough times that might get tougher. I’m here with you and for you because—we’re all in this together.
